Cruising!

We have done about 4 cruises since getting married in 2009 and they have been the best vacations we could have had.
No getting lost, no asking directions and best of all no driving. Sit and let them take you on the destination. And lets touch the subject of food. AMAZING food all around.

Our cruise 2 years ago was one of the best. Our cruise director (the person that plans all the activities and shows) was wonderful. We loved it!
And last year as we wonder if we should do another cruise or go somewhere else we lost track of time and Carnival was already booked. We were left with  Royal Caribbean which from many comments we heard is the best cruise line out there. The food and the ship itself were claimed to be better. So we paid a little more and ended up going to Royal.
This was the worst worst cruise in the history of cruises....
I know I can exaggerate the truth but everyone around us thought the same thing. In the jacuzzi that's all you would hear including at debarkation day most of the people if not all the people in the line had to comment that this was not what they had excepted.
The cruise was NOT bad but was not worth the price... We had good food, horrible entertainment but great ports of call. That cruise left us thinking that we were not going to cruise again in a very long time.

Then this year rolled around. As we wondered again what to do for our vacation we thought about cruising. We felt a little skeptical. We loved cruising but I was pregnant and our last cruise had not been that amazing at all. And then Carnival sent us a sale email. Yes, those email that make you want to get on the ship ASAP. I looked at some of the information and gather enough info to show the hubby. I was hooked! and Carnival knew it! they even called us to offer a better sale! What was I to say... Well what I did ask them was their policy on pregnant and cruising and its simply  before 24 weeks and I was well under that mark. We booked a balcony (first time ever) and it was amazing. The first 2 nights we heard some noises at night and I went downstairs to ask if the outdoor furniture moved (silly me) and they said no but our cabin was in a place in the ship were we hear a lot of noise and they decided that it was best for us to be moved to a new cabin. No hassle at all they would move our bags we were just to pack anything we had gotten out the last day and a half. We told them that we would try it another night and go from there.
The following night was pretty much the same so after much thought we decided to take them up in their offer and move rooms.
To our surprise we were moved to the CLOUD DECK which is a private deck in the Spa Deck and a cabin there costs about $1500 per person. Needles to say the rest of our cruise was amazing including the nights!
We are so glad to be back to Carnival instead of Royal and we can't wait to go on another cruise again!! We were even planing on how we'll do it next year since baby girl will be about 8 to 9 months. Husband is not a fan of taking her on a cruise but me on the other hand would love it even more.
To include our little bean on something that we both enjoy so so much!

I'll touch about cruising pregnant since it was one of the best parts of this pregnancy. I didn't have morning sickness throughout the first 3 months of my pregnancy. I was nauseas and a person could be  but only actually sick about 3 times. Now I was scared to go on a cruise because in the past I live off the little pills the cruise offers. I mean if i skip and hour i was already feeling a little sick and this time I couldn't take any pills. and second being pregnant you would think that a ship is the last place you want to be.WRONG!! I rested, exercised, ATE and just simply enjoyed time with the hubby just us two! It's a wonderful vacation to catch the much sleep we hardly get, to eat delicious and healthy (if thats what you desire) food. I would not change it for the world. I wish that I could go now even for a 4 day cruise!

So like always Carnival has 5 thumbs up!

In love with our girl.

Since the beginning of this pregnancy I have to be honest I deeply desire a girl. Our hearts, because daddy wanted a girl more than I, were praying for a healthy baby but also for our hearts desire; a sweet little princess.

 And a princess she is indeed.  A princess that steals my every thought, my every hope, my every prayer and my every goal. I know people usually say that you dont know what love is until your a mother, but I never thought it hold such truth.

I'm in love with a different fruit every week. I love to feel her kick, even when she kicks my bladder. I have shed many tears over the years wondering if I would ever get the chance to fill a kick, to fill my child moving inside of me and man is God great!! It feels even better than I could've ever imagined. It amazes me every week how much my belly can stretch and how perfectly made she is and will be.

I love to sing her songs of worship, to talk to her and to pray over her life. I can just imagine her in church singing and clapping. 

I lay in bed and I cant help to think how blessed we are that we get to be parents of a beautiful baby girl, a baby girl that I know will move mountains.

Daddy is head over heels for her. He kisses my belly constantly. Cant help to laugh because we are and have been rocking a beard for about a month now. Daddy looks very handsome!! (maybe the pregnancy hormones talking but man is he the sexist man alive)

But he calls us his dolls and he whispers in my belly every morning and night how much he loves his baby girl!
He tells you that HE LOVES YOU and can't wait to meet you on a daily basis. Every kick he feels leaves him in awe.. He just looks at me astonished.

Never in a million years could we imagined being this happy and in love with a little person we haven't met yet.
I usually find myself hoping time would slow down but this last couple of weeks all I want it to do it hurry up. Funny right!

So yes I've gotten even more lazy than before... No surprise there, pregnancy has been a rough one on the energy level.

Obviously the growing has been amazing but  in some moments slow.

For a while there I didn't think we were going to make it to 13 weeks and the 20 weeks and the vitality week 24. Now days 30 weeks seems so be taking her sweet time. Meanwhile i'm just happy to enjoy her movements all day and all night long!

Don't know how much more my skin can take as far as stretching. But are bodies are amazing. They'll just keep stretching more and more. 

As far as pain I have honestly say I have had little to no pain at all. I did get some back pain last weekend (27 weeks) but nothing too bad.

Sleeping has been getting tough though, can't sleep on my belly or back and my sides are getting slightly sore. On top of that I believe baby girl is really not a big fan of me staying in one position for too long she kicks and pushes so I sleep sitting up on the bed and I get a very good amount of sleep!! Happy mommy!!
