                                                                27 WEEKS BARE BELLY!

Obviously the growing has been amazing but  in some moments slow.
For a while there I didn't think we were going to make it to 13 weeks and the 20 weeks and the vitality week 24. Now days 30 weeks seems so be taking her sweet time. Meanwhile i'm just happy to enjoy her movements all day and all night long!
Don't know how much more my skin can take as far as stretching. But are bodies are amazing. They'll just keep stretching more and more.
As far as pain I have honestly say I have had little to no pain at all. I did get some back pain last weekend (27 weeks) but nothing too bad.
Sleeping has been getting tough though, can't sleep on my belly or back and my sides are getting slightly sore. On top of that I believe baby girl is really not a big fan of me staying in one position for too long she kicks and pushes so I sleep sitting up on the bed and I get a very good amount of sleep!! Happy mommy!!

Gender reveal party!

We took our test on Monday Sept 15 early in the morning. After the appt was finished they gave me a purple card in which it gave instructions as to what number to call to get the results. We had heard from multiple sources it took from 2-3 days but in the appt. they told me it would take 7-10 days which sucked but we called the number on the card every hour on Monday (crazy I know), Tuesday and Half the day on Wed.

I had 16 calls to them by Tuesday morning.... and that not counting the ones on Lesters phone. Needless to say we wanted to find out.

And the news came via email from my OBs offices... and it was a GIRL!!!!

Lester wanted to know so bad that I felt bad making him wait until he got home. So whats the next best thing? Facetime! Thanks APPLE!
He swears it was a boy from the look on my face.. In all honestly this is for another post but we really really prayed long and hard for a sweet girl. We were happy with whatever came our way but deep inside we were both hoping for a sweet little princess.
I grabbed a gold bow we had bought a few days ealier told him I think we are going to need alot MORE BOWS!! Obviously this was all done through tears! Happy tears!!
His face was priceless... He was left with no words and the first thing he said was

"Man God is amazing. I cant believe he is once more giving us what we asked"
And amazing He is!!!

As far as our family, no we did not tell them that day!! it was horrible keeping it down but we did it!!
That Saturday we had our gender reveal (Imagine if the results had taken 10 days. o0)
After weeks of searching on Pinterest we kind of had an idea as to what we wanted to do.We wanted something creative and fun so we did just that.
And here is the reveal. Sorry for the loud group of people (AKA as hispanics/Cubans)

For some weird reason the quality of the video is not the best once uploaded but you get the idea!
So baby here is how the family knew you were a pretty little GIRL!!

Lost...

Thats me lately....
We have been so busy its hard to keep up with work, church, trying to execirse and maintain a clean hose( well trying on that too) all on top of being in the first trimester of this pregnancy.

If that wasnt enough all of our computers seem to be having some sort of issue so i guess a blog post through my phone/ or ipad will have to do.

Updates:
Pregnancy has been great! Couldnt ask for more. Baby is moving alot. Not that i can feel it yet but according to our doppler we have a little ninja in our hands.

Flutters.. This has been one of the best feelings ever. I'm wasn't completly sure all the time is baby but when I lay down on my back i do feel little flutters (thats what I've heard everyone call them but they feel like I have gas in my belly and its just passing through my organs.. Excuse me for the TMI) but i discover its not that since my stomach is not that low and the doppler catches the movement at the same time.

Speaking of our doppler.. This has been the best purchase we've made. E.V.E.R. I wouldnt say it gives me peace of mind because I know God will never let anything happen to our sweet pea but its just a blessing to hear the heart beat and movements. I fall in love each time I hear it.

I have our gender reaveal party post ready to go but somehow we cant post the video. Im not computer smart at all.

We went on our yearly vacation, also knowns as our anniversary, a little early this year mostly due to cruise rules on pregnancy and if we are honest WE REALLY NEEDED IT. It was amazing. Post to come on that and pictures.

I've lacking on the weekly updates but will start that here soon. Hopefully our computer gets fixed at apple over the weekend and we'll have it next week.

Speaking about that.. Insert my fear of all our pictures getting ereased, and I dont have a clue as far as how the cloud works so I'll be doing this the old fashion way amd saving them on memory sticks or cds until it gets fixed. And maybe they'll be nice enough to show me how the cloud thing works.

Well thats all for now! Have a good week! GB

First trimester testing/ Gender

This was a very awaited appointment. I couldn't wait to see our baby! But here she/he is!

Isn't baby E the cutes baby you have ever seen?

stretching his/her legs

the tech was going to take a profile picture and baby moved and waved hi to everyone

Baby E was mad! she/he kept her/his fists closed and kept shaking them and kicking. Baby wanted to sleep

We got a total of 8 pictures with some predicting Baby E's gender but we'll wait for the official test results to make the actual announcement!

We are so thankful for this opportunity. For the love that God has showed us by allowing us to be parents! Can't wait to hold my little bundle of joy in my hands and hug him/her.

Blessed

This post is one that has been brewing in my mind for a while. Something that I want to make sure I write down.

Before we got pregnant we prayed daily for a baby. We prayed to believe in God's word and to have faith that He had us always in mind and knew what was best for us. As hard as it was that time actually made me appreciate this moment more. The tears, because they were many, have now been erased with the extreme joy and happiness we feel when we think about baby E, which lets be honest is all the time.

I feel blessed beyond words! I feel a love that is bigger than I ever could've imagine. Every ultrasound makes me giddily, makes me cry like a baby and smile like a kid in a candy store!
We are thankful and feel so loved that God has allowed to have this piece of heaven in our lives.

As each week passes by and as my belly grows this whole entire dream is closer to reality and we are closer to being even more in love.

So after many pity parties and waiting we can say our blessing is here and things are only going to get better.

Thank you God for this opportunity, for your grace, love and blessing every day!!

11 and 12 weeks of baby E

So it's official we are 3 months as of Sunday and fingers crossed all the morning sickness is gone!

11 weeks
Ok this week was a really tough week for me! Ever since getting pregnant I have been very nauseous but never really throwing up. This week made up for it. On saturday no food literarily stayed down. Nothing! ZIP! Sunday was by far a better day and the rest of the week was me almost getting to a good place with food. Not quite there yet but way better.
Happy to report no stretch marks and well no weight gain either.
Baby grew like crazy this week a slight bump here and there.

12 weeks
Honestly happy a a bird with a worm! We are getting our early gender test on Monday Sep 15 so we could not be happier. So far this week so good!Bump is definitely showing now and I couldn't love it more!

Daddy is doing amazing! playing soccer like always and enjoying hugging and kissing the belly.

Next week we finally get to see our sweet baby again since week 7! It honestly feels like its been forever. We are happy to be set up as a monthly appt. which mans everything is going good but I miss seeing our baby every two weeks! Hoping the days pass by faster than usual!

Thanks all for now!
God bless!

9 and 10 weeks

OK let us ignore the fact that I'm a week behind on these updates.
As far as 9 weeks I'm OK. Actually doing much much better. All and all this pregnancy has been amazing to me and has also left me waiting time to speed up, a rare occurrence in my books.

9 weeks:
Again feeling much better. Getting to eat more. I still lost a pound here and there but I needed it so its good. I'm back at the gym. That would actually imply me dragging my butt to the gym but I do at least try to go 3 times a week. I need to add a few here and there but at the moment is the best I can do.  Still tired as can be. Hoping this part goes away SOON.
Nausea is still a factor but it has improve a lot!
I don't know if is the fact that I had a sweet little pouch before getting pregnant but I have notice my belly a lot bigger. Pants and shorts still fit great!

10 weeks:
I feel this week as same as last week. A little less nausea but I had some uncomfortable cramping and some back pain most of the week. I never wanted to be the person who called the doctor so many times for questions but as ashamed and embarrassed as I felt calling I feel great to know that everything is OK. I'm not messing with my baby's health. So YES, I have my doctors phone on speed dial, YES, i will call or email the second I have a question and while in a visit YES I'm the person that asks 500 questions. Sorry not sorry!

We have been praying for this pregnancy and baby for so long now that it is still amazing to us that God would bless us in such a tremendous way!
Again all and all feeling great! I actually took some belly pics at Target while searching for a cute maternity dress that I could wear with jackets, blazers etc. something versatile enough to be used in various occasions and warm enough for this TEXAS weather, but I haven't uploaded the pictures yet. Will do that later since my kiddos are waking up from nap RIGHT NOW!

Loving this pregnancy and the fact the we are blessed to be parents!
