How far along? 8weeks (this is going by the 2nd ultrasound. We were actually moved back a few days. As of 08/17)
Total weight gain: -7 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Nope still using my regular clothes. My pants are starting to feel tighter around the belly but still good!
Stretch Marks: Same as last time only one! Hope we can keep it that way!
Sleep: Sleep is a lot better! Still not able to sleep throw the night but I'm getting more rest.
Best moment this week: Seeing our sweet pea in the ultrasound and hearing her/his heartbeat!

Miss Anything? Not much! Maybe just the fact that I'm not able to do as many things as before. Hense the lack of energy/ over controlling mother and mil and of course the husband! :o)
Movement: No, but I can't wait to be able to say yes!
Food cravings: Just a few here and there nothing really big or craving material! Just been wanting an specific thing but I'm super fine if I don't get it.
Anything making you queasy or sick Doing much better. Not eating makes me super sick!
Gender: OH man!!! Cant wait to know!
Labor Signs: Nope!! Thank God
Symptoms: Still nauseous specially when I don't eat. Still tired ALL the time!
Belly Button in or out? in.

Wedding rings on or off? on.
Happy or Moody most of the time: In all honesty I'm a bag of moodiness at all times! I find myself apologizing to the husband all the time. He just continue what he is doing but I feel terrible!
Looking forward to: Telling our friends the news next week! our family already knows!

Prayers for our baby this week: Dear God, Thank you so much for this huge miracle you have given us. Thank you for one more week! Thank you for your grace and love towards us and this sweet baby! We pray for our baby's health and organs/body parts developing this week! We ask you to be with us every step of this journey and bless our baby's life!
How is daddy doing: Sweet as can be!
Story of the week: I just want to mention the fact that your daddy said that listening to your heartbeat and seeing you in the monitor for the first time was the best birthday surprise he has ever had!

2ND Doc appt.

Thursday August 14

We had an amazing Docs visit! First one for us for sure! We had an ultrasound (2nd) and we were able to hear our sweet pea's heartbeat! There are no words to describe the moment we first heard the heartbeat! We both looked at each other and we couldn't believe that that sound was our baby! It was fast and according to the tech healthy! She found the baby in less than 2 seconds! and immediately put the volume up and there it was a perfect sounding heart!

I know is silly but how amazing is it that now, today, my body is holding a sweet baby and that sweet baby has a heartbeat! (and a tail for that matter)

But needless to say we are thrilled!

That same day it was my hunny's birthday and as usual he had a wonderful breakfast with included a waffle, homemade whip cream and a candle!!

 And for the baby pics!!!

The heartbeat at the bottom

First bump update!

Hey there!! I'm very excited about posting and trying to remember everything this pregnancy brings so let the fun begin.
I found out very early on (4 weeks and 1 day to be exact)so lets just say that it has been very hard to keep it to ourselves and most of all to keep myself from searching about the future weeks. At the same time I'm trying really hard to not make myself crazy with so much information.

But here goes nothing our first pregnancy post!

No pictures yet! I'm sure you all don't want to see a bloated belly.

How far along? 7 weeks and 5 days (08/11)
Total weight gain: -7 lbs. Im sure i'll gain them back soon.
Maternity clothes? Nope. I did get two free maternity band (belly bands) just in case.
Stretch Marks: Sadly yes. Got it last week in fact! One on my right boob. I can't believe they can grow so fast and itch so much.
Sleep: What sleep? Just a cat nap here and there. Between peeing, hurt burn and itching its really hard to rest. For some reason I wake up every night at 3 something not tired at all.
Best moment this week: Getting to rest on Sunday evening after a very long 2 weeks.
Miss Anything? Not really. Happy camper over here
Movement: No, but I can't wait to be able to say yes!
Food cravings: None what so ever! I did crave the boxes brownies a few days ago and got myself and the hubby a box just to be spend the entire night sick from one brownie.
Anything making you queasy or sick Everything. Strong smells. cooking red meat. Changing dirty diapers and the list could go on for days.
Gender: OH man!!! Cant wait to know!
Labor Signs: Nope!! Thank God
Symptoms: Very, very, very nauseous. Which is worse because I actually get hungry every once in a while and yep no eating is ever involved, and extra EXTRA tired!
Belly Button in or out? in. I have a very weird belly bottom curious as to what its going to look like

Wedding rings on or off? on. I have super long skinny fingers so my ring has always been a bit big.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy & EXCITED to say the least!
Looking forward to: Our u/s this Thursday. Doc says we will be able to see our sweet pea's heart!

Prayers for our baby this week: Dear God, Thank you so much for this huge miracle you have given us. We pry that this sweet baby comes healthy and that you bless his/her life to the maximum. We ask you to be with us every step of this journey we have just began
How is daddy doing: I have never seen your daddy as in love as he is now! He loves the thought of you. He caress my belly every chance he gets. He is already as super protective as I know he'll be once you are here!
Story of the week: I will try to include little fun (and not so fun) stories that have happen this last few days.
About a week ago we went to my favorite restaurant of all time Hasta La Pasta. I cannot express what this restaurant means to me and how much I love it. We had a date about 6 years ago there and we heard amazing live music and those musicians ended up playing in our wedding and since then we try to go at least 1 time a month. It helps because its so close by. Going back to the story we went there last Saturday (8/2) and I order my favorite plate Tomato Rosa, which is basically raviolis with a tomato cream sauce. the smelled divine but just one touch in my mouth I needed a restroom asap. I could not believe it. We then went home and I could not for the love of me see any other food for the rest of the evening. Sad to say that my favorite plate has now been moved to the do not mention list. Hopefully next trimester will be another story!

First Doc Appt.

We had our first doctor's appt. on July 29 way too early I was told, but i had the appt from a while ago so I just changed it to our first official maternity appt.

I've read tons of blogs that mention this appt would last forever and in all honesty it was not as long as I expected. Maybe it was the fact that is was way to early.
By that appt we had calculated that I was 6 weeks almost seven going from my last period, but to our surprise (not so happy) we are actually a little more than a week behind.

But I got to see my little sweet pea, well actually his/her sac only. The tech said it was too early to actually see the baby itself.

The necessity to schedule me 2 weeks later did scare me a little, it gave me the slight idea that something was not right.
I won't lie I got out of the doc office feeling a little down.

I have been praying my heart out to God and I have faith that if He put this beautiful blessing in our lives He will see it through.

By the time this post is published  we have already gone on the second appt 2 weeks later to see if my  weight gain is back on track and to also see the heartbeat. I will update later on.

So far so good! I can't wait to see our sweet pea again!!

Happy Friday

Hope everyone is have a happy Friday!
I woke up this morning hoping it was Saturday already. This growing a baby is no joke! But we could't be happier!

Well I heard the most amazing news this morning, our local mall is opening a H&M Store and since our closest mall is about 7 minutes away this is music to my ears!
On that note and the fact that soon (hopefully) I'll actually look pregnant why not show a couple of looks I'm loving! Brought to you by PINTEREST!

 What I love:
Even though it says 2013 I love everything on it!
The scarf, boots and leggins!
And a bump obviously cute!!

What I love:
Again the scarf and the whole laid-back look!

What I love:
Kimonos!!!
I have two and I can't wait to add a few more!
Its just so girly I adore everything of it!

What I love:
Maxi skirts.
Need I say more!

What I love:
The fact that in Texas winter doesn't always mean cold temperatures. And so much that a long sleeve is enough. Now come January and February is another story! It may be the fact that I Caribbean but as soon as the temps drop under 60 I'm wearing a few layers!

 What I love:
Blazers. No matter how many may hate them I love Kourtney's fashion! I honestly wish I had her closet.
A nice blazer can make an outfit!

That's all for today! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Our surprise!!

So its official after multiple pregnancy test, doctors office and a very sick me we are pregnant and could not be happier. It has been a rough, and now that we think about it, a short road.

So this is how it happened....

On July 14 I had my yearly ob visit everything went great according to the doctor. I told her that we were trying to have a baby and had been trying since early March and nothing yet. She did not seem even a litte worried. She said it takes about 6-12 months for a normal couple and after a year we would explore a little more if i was not pregnant yet.  I left the office with a little pit in my belly... That was not the answer i wanted to hear 6 months!!! WOW but oh well we had God and he was going to do it at his time.

The  next day I had my physical with my general doctor and I told him about my horrible hurt burn and even worse headaches. He did some test and everything was coming out great! YAY!

By July 16 I was cramping really bad but no period. I was 6 days late, not so normal but not out of the ordinary lately.  So that morning I decided to take a HPT. I had bought one at the dollar store a few weeks before and I had a pack of EPT but I was not a fan of getting a negative on a $15 test.
So it came out like this....
You can't  see the second line.. but its there!
If you look close enough, with one eye or half of that eye you can see a very, very light pink line.

I decided to wait and not tell anyone, not even the hubster and just wait until the next morning!
The following morning I took my EPT test. The last one in the box and to my surprise the second line appear even clearer now!! I was jumping up and down in our guest bathroom at 5:45 in the morning!

Now thats better!

I went to my mom to work, we had some issues at the house that were being resolved so the kids were meeting me there. As soon as I got there i told my mom I NEEDED to go to the pharmacy.
At 9am I took the 3rd test and this time the line came up faster and brighter!!! I came out of the bathroom with the biggest smile! So much that my mom took a look at me and told me "OH MY GOSH you are pregnant right!? Right!!!"
We jumped a little and after many hugs we got back to doing our work.

By 12 i couldnt hold it in anymore!! I went to the store while our helper and my mom stayed with the kidos and got my husband a onesie, some baby leggings, a soccer aplique, fabric paint and a t-shirt for him.

That day  he had come home early due to a little accident he had the night before, lets just say stitches, bloodly hands and butterfly stiches where involved.

So at 3Pm I went home and gave him this box with everything else in it.
His reaction was and it still is priceless. He kept saying "are you serious?" Really we are going to have a baby?!" I will post the video of it at a later time!!

But for now this is our story with baby E!! So now we can officially say Baby E makes 3!!
